The Roanoke Academy of Medicine Alliance (RAMA) Foundation announces that the 18th Annual Book & Author Dinner will be held on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 7pm at The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center. The RAMA Foundation and Health Focus of Southwest Virginia are coordinating this very entertaining evening to benefit financially needy students pursuing careers in health services and planning to serve in the Roanoke Valley. All profits will be distributed as scholarships from the RAMA Foundation and Health Focus of Southwest Virginia. The success of the Book & Author Dinner depends in large measure on the generous support of the corporate community.
The evening begins with a VIP Cocktail Party for corporate sponsors, patrons, and authors only. A seated dinner begins at 7pm and is followed by authors' comments. Book sales preceding and following dinner are provided by SuzyQ. At the autographing reception held after dinner, enjoy mingling with authors Jeffrey Deaver, author of The Bone Collector and the soon to be released The Steel Kiss, Sy Montgomery, author of The Good Good Pig and The Soul of an Octopus, Andrea Mays, author of The Millionaire and the Bard, and emcee Martin Clark, author of The Legal Limit and The Jezebel Remedy.
